Ayden turns 5!

October 22 marked my youngest son’s 5th birthday and we had a great time spending it with family. My mom was kind enough to pick up the cake from Deerfield Bakery and she happen to get the Queen Elizabeth cake which is probably one of the best cakes you will ever taste. It’s a yellow cake wrapped in Bavarian cream filled with fresh strawberries and bananas…yum! My oldest son Justin and sis-in-law decided to ‘cake’ Ayden but I only allowed it if they didn’t actually use the cake (it was a pretty expensive cake!). Instead, they used whipped cream and well, Ayden wasn’t too happy. We finished the celebration by eating a noodle dish, which in our culture, represents a long life.
